2.2 Organiser Responsibility

PartyEntry does not create, organise, or own the events listed on the Services. 2.3 Order Processing

Orders will be processed after User's payment information has been verified. The User will receive an email confirmation shortly after the transaction is completed.

Payment Authorization

To protect Consumers from being charged for unavailable tickets, PartyEntry verifies ticket availability before completing payment. If tickets are unavailable, the payment authorization is released and your card is not charged.

2.4 Subscription Tickets

Some tickets may be offered on a subscription basis (monthly or recurring access to events). All subscription tickets are automatically renewed unless cancelled by the Consumer.

3. Consumer Privacy

Information provided to PartyEntry by Users or collected by PartyEntry is governed by our Privacy Policy.

4. Termination of Agreement

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. PartyEntry may terminate a User's right to use the Services if the User violates these Terms, misuses the Services, or if permitting use would violate applicable laws.

5. Release and Indemnity

Users agree to cover PartyEntry if their use of the Services causes PartyEntry to face legal claims or expenses. This includes disputes between Organisers and Consumers, personal injury at events, or violations of these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

9. Organiser Obligations Regarding Permits & Licenses

11. Ban on Commercial Use

Site Content is not for commercial use by Users. Users may not scrape event data, bulk download listings, or use platform data for competing services.

12. Fees & Refunds

12.1 PartyEntry Fees

It is free to create an account, list an event, or browse the Services. However, sale of paid tickets carries fees.

Platform Fee

PartyEntry charges a Platform Fee for facilitating ticket sales. The Platform Fee is calculated as a percentage of the ticket price plus a fixed amount per ticket, and includes Norwegian MVA (25%).

Current Platform Fee: 3.40% + 7.99 NOK per ticket

Example: 100 NOK ticket → Platform Fee = 15 NOK → Consumer pays 115 NOK total

Payment Processing Fee

PartyEntry uses Stripe Connect for payment processing. Payment processing fees are charged by Stripe and vary by payment method. These fees are automatically deducted from the organiser's Stripe Connect balance.

For current processing fee rates, see Stripe's pricing page.

12.3 Refunds

All ticket transactions are between an Organiser and respective Consumers. Therefore, Consumers must contact the applicable Organiser with any refund requests. Organisers set their own refund policies subject to minimum requirements.

What is Refunded:

If a refund is granted, only the ticket face value is refunded. Platform Fees are not refundable, as PartyEntry has already provided the service.

13. PartyEntry User Accounts

PartyEntry requires Users to register for an account to access certain features. Users must:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Keep account credentials confidential
  • Have authority to bind any entity they represent
  • Notify PartyEntry of any unauthorized access

14. User Content

All Content is the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. PartyEntry does not control and is not responsible for user submitted Content.

By posting Content to any public area of the Site, you automatically grant PartyEntry an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such content.

PartyEntry may send notices to Users via emails registered in PartyEntry's records or through in-platform notifications.

17. Assignment

PartyEntry may freely assign these Terms to any successor entity or acquirer. Users may not assign this agreement without PartyEntry's written consent.

18. Scope of Agreement

These Terms govern the use of PartyEntry Services and constitute the entire agreement between Users and PartyEntry.

19. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Parties hereby submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian Courts in Oslo, Norway, in respect to any claim or dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Services.

No Arbitration Required: All disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts. All parties have the right to pursue claims in Norwegian courts.

Where Users are Consumers under Norwegian law (forbrukerkjøpsloven), mandatory consumer protection provisions apply and may override certain provisions of these Terms to the extent required by Norwegian law.

20. Linked Accounts & Third-Party Sites

The Services may integrate with third-party services such as Stripe (payment processing), Google Maps (venue locations), and social media platforms. Use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

21. Force Majeure

PartyEntry shall not be responsible for any delay or failure due to force majeure events including war, terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, strikes, infrastructure failures, power outages, or other causes beyond PartyEntry's reasonable control.

22. Other Provisions

Failure by PartyEntry to enforce any part of these Terms does not constitute a waiver. If any provision is found unenforceable under Norwegian law, other provisions remain in full force.
